Barns are primarily used to provide a safe refuge for your livestock, be it cattle or horses. Beside housing livestock, there are various other functional usages of these buildings. Farmers can use them for sheltered storage of feed for their livestock. The feeds need protection from the environment to prevent them from rotting, molding or decaying. For farmers who possess heavy farming equipment and vehicles, it might be a rational decision to erect a barn which offers the best protection for these expensive assets without taking up space at your house. One can also use the barn as a covered workplace for any farming operation.
Traditionally, farmers built barns with timber, but because wooden barns required much maintenance and were prone to fire hazards, metal barns have replaced them. Metal barns are easy and quick to assemble and are sturdier than any other materials that are used for construction. They are hassle-free and require very low maintenance, hence freeing you to take proper care of your livestock and your crops. Additionally, metal barns are robust enough to withstand the constant abuse that livestock imposes on them. They provide a very stylish and economical alternative to an outdoor shelter for your animals.

Types of roofing style in Barns
We offer three basic type of roofing styles for a barn design
Horse Metal Barns :
Whether you decide to farm a few horses (or cattle for that matter) or need housing for large number of farm animals, a steel barn is an economical and attractive option. Our horse barn designs come with regular roof style with horizontal roof panels and side panels. These structures are sure to fit your budget while also doing the job of protecting your animals and their feed.
Carolina Metal Barns :
Carolina barn designs are A- framed structures and the metal sheeting of this barn design can run either vertically or horizontally. The raised central aisle in these barns provides sufficient height for activities which require more space in height than the standard horse stalls. Since these are A- framed structures, the strength of the barn is considerably higher and with vertical roofs, you can reduce the required cleaning efforts.
Seneca Metal Barns:
Same as Carolina barns, Seneca metal barns are also A- framed structures. But unlike Carolina barns, these do not have a raised center aisle. These structures feature a continuous roof line and you can choose either as a Boxed-eave or vertical roofed Seneca barn.
